Job description
We are currently seeking an experienced professional for one of our clients in the insurance sector. This is a strategic leadership opportunity to shape and grow the life insurance business line in Saudi Arabia.
Position: Head of Life & Financial Solutions (Protection and Savings)
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic direction and overall performance of the life insurance portfolio.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development to design technically sound insurance products.
- Define and manage the target product portfolio, including pricing, distribution, and underwriting strategies.
- Oversee policy administration, claims methodologies, and benefit payout procedures.
- Monitor key operational metrics, productivity, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
- Develop and implement training programs for the national life insurance sales force.
- Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the division’s budget, set individual and team performance targets, and guide cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with Risk, Internal Audit, and Compliance teams to identify and mitigate operational and claims-related risks.

Profile required
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, with leadership experience in life insurance.
- Expertise in product development, actuarial pricing, and distribution management.
- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects.
