Job description
We are currently seeking a Head of Compliance on behalf of one of our clients in the insurance sector. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established company in Saudi Arabia, leading all regulatory and compliance activities while working closely with the Audit Committee and executive leadership.
Position: Head of Compliance
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure company-wide compliance with SAMA, CMA, GOSI, and other regulatory bodies
- Design, implement, and monitor compliance policies and action plans
- Act as the primary point of contact for regulators and internal audit functions
- Lead the Anti-Money Laundering and anti-fraud frameworks and monitoring activities
- Report regularly to the Audit Committee and CEO on compliance efforts and risks
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact on operations
- Provide guidance on ethical behavior and potential legal risks
- Support leadership with internal investigations, disciplinary actions, and risk mitigation
- Coordinate with internal departments to deliver compliance training and awareness
- Prepare periodic compliance reports and ensure alignment with internal procedures

Profile required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Law, Economics, Insurance, or related field
- Certification in Compliance, IFCE, AML/Anti-Fraud preferred
- 5–7 years of experience in compliance or regulatory roles within insurance or financial services
- SAMA approval for appointment required
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Strong knowledge of Saudi regulatory landscape and internal governance
